there is no reason for an 8 year old to be taking naps. If they aren't getting enough sleep, then send their arse to bed earlier. They should be too busy playing outside to be taking naps. If I had a friend that took naps after school we would have made fun of him.

math homework should take 5-10 minutes tops, if your smart it should take 30 seconds.

I dont' believe that a 4th grader has to do a presentation on power point.

There are tons of kids that spend less than 30 minutes a day doing homework with the same work load. If your kid is taking hours to do it, then there's a problem with the kids learning ability, not the amount of homework.
