I was there. Not sure if I'd just never paid attention before or if it was because I'd only ever been to true night games but that day was the first time I ever heard "Ladies and gentlemen, its the beginning of the fourth quarter. The son will soon find its home in the western sky. And it will be Saturday night in Death Valley."

Still gives me chills. Those were the days, man.
