Student Tickets/ID help

My friend and I want to go to the game Saturday. I've been promising I'd take him. I have a few friends that go and attend every game (Yes, they stay the entire time) that want to help us get in. They said I need a ticket and a student ID in order to get in. Is this true? If so, is there a way around it? I have a sound set up to do for two parties (Saturday and Sunday mornings), so it'll kill me to be in BR and not be in TS. Thanks in advance

I dont think everyone in the stadium has a student id. You will need a ticket.

If you're using a student ticket, you need a student ID.
There are ways to get into the student section without a student ticket though. Easiest way is to just buy a NEZ ticket.

Ask your friend to find students selling their student tickets and get them to do a student upgrade that will allow you in

If you are trying to get in with a student section ticket, you will need an LSU student ID.
The ID does not have to match the name on the ticket, though.
Technically, you'd need to upgrade the student ticket through the athletic department if you are not an LSU student but want to sit in the LSU student section. However, they usually don't check IDs too strongly at the gate. So, as long as you have a valid LSU ID that will swipe (whether it is yours or not), you should be fine. This may be frowned upon by some people, but frankly, as long as that student section if filled up for this big game on Saturday, I couldn't care less.

ETA: Honestly, just make sure if you are a guy, the ID you are using is also a guy's and you will be fine.
