Why squib every kickoff when your kicker kicks it out of the end zone over 70% of the time?

You do realize that some teams squib kick every time in a game to keep away from certain kick returners, right?

you don't squib kick every kick off because you leave yards on the table when you squib kick. Field position is important for the majority of the game. In this particular scenario the coaches decided to trade off field position for less risk of a return given that the half was winding down.
