IE, we talk a lot about Ceasar Augustus, Napoleon, George Washington, etc.
What prominent persons relevant in the past 100 years will be discussed the most?
I would say Hitler, Nelson Mandela, and Jenna Jameson.

George Washington,
I wonder if this will remain. I mean, how often is he really talked about outside of the U.S.? And we've been around 230 years? Tack another almost 800 years onto that and he could all but disappear from history.
(Don't believe me? Think about how many massive powers, led by countless kings and emperors have fallen into historical obscurity in the last 1000 years?)
Hitler I do agree with.

I think the concept of time will be totally different then and am not sure they will study anyone who is alive now...
that is, society is progressing exponentially over time, so anything that happens now will be just kind of considered an extension of the dark ages and not noteworthy....

I can get onboard with this line of thinking..
If we continue on the same technological path I could imagine some reference to scientific figures. This assuming we don't implode as a society.

Einstein, Hawking, Jobs/Gates/etc, Zuckerberg

I could see this happening. Our current society will get lumped with everything starting with the industrial revolution in the 1700's.

That's deep. You're probably right.
