As a matter of fact he has worked most of his life with the indigent, teaching at Earl K Long, and traveling to Third World countries to provide free medical care to some of the poorest people in the World. After Katrina he organized a group of doctors and they converted an empty K Mart building as a Medical Center, that provided care to the overflow of patients evacuated because of the storm. You know, Mary's constituents.
