I don't know all the logistics and specifics of the whole thing, but I do live in the St. George area, and I do have a kindergarten-age son. I want him to have the best education possible, and that's why I am for the proposed new city. I just don't understand the whole bussing-in from other parts of the city.

There's no guarantee of that whatsoever, but that's exactly what the movement leaders are selling the idea on. The incorporation doesn't guarantee a school district, but if/when they do get one, it'll be quite some time before the schools get built, and even longer before anyone knows how good the schools are. Everyone is just assuming that the schools will be as good as Central's and Zachary's, but there are many reasons why that may not be a reality.

You certainly have a valid interest in learning all you can about federal and state laws which require "bussing-in from other parts of the city." The bad news, for you, is those laws won't change even if SG gets an ISD.
