I remember, after many, many attepmts at beating the final boss on Diddy Kong racing, I lept up, controller in hand and accidentally yaked the console from its secure location. The force dislodged the cartridge from the console. When I reset the game I found all of my files had been erased. It was quite a roller coaster of emotions that day.

When I was around 10-11 I had been playing POW on NES for like 3 weeks trying to beat it. I finally got all the way thru and just as I was about to finish off the final boss, my younger cousin who was about 9 decided it would be funny to press the reset button. He did laugh until I punched him 2-3 times so hard he ran home crying. He didn't come back to play Nintendo for a while after that
