All QB's will miss an open receiver or two every game, but most of what fans see are either a) how wide open someone is after the QB has committed to a play and the defense has reacted, or b) how open another receiver is on a single option play. What both QB's are lacking right now is the ability to look at a defense pre-snap and recognize who is most likely to be open, whether they'll need to look a safety off, etc.
