Don't follow the comics.
The line of "cosmic justice it would be you.." doesn't sit well with me. Bob has been a minor character. ..But now the new super villain of the show is speaking to him like they know each other.
Could be way off. That's part of the fun though..speculating

It is fun, that's for sure. I think the cosmic justice line refers to Bob being the one to plead for their lives just long enough for them to stop at Glenn before the explosion. The justice being, in Gareth's eyes, that he is in deed eating Bob after all. And now it's going to be so much worse than a bat to the head and a throat slash.

Glad you mentioned this. I haven't rewatched a single episode after air, but I was wondering how he seemed to know Bob so well, and why Gareth allowed him to speak in the slaughter room. Thought I was missing some interaction they previously had.
