Good. Although I know it is a PITA to have to address this every now and then.

Ideally you have the following: the spine surgeon who gives you straight answers regarding what you need or don't need, in conjunction with the non-operative guys (PM&R and Anaesthesia) who can offer meds and injections, and the PTs who offer joint mobilization, stretching, and the like. There is some degree of comfort added if you can get that all under one roof, as opposed to "are all these offices talking to each other?"

Helps to have psychology in the mix too (maybe not in this case, but overall).
