I disagree, because the incubation period is so long many people will have forgoten when they first felt the symptoms and where exactly the traveled and who they contacted.

The other nurse traveled in a plane just yesterday, and the plane was used again.

The virus is able to live for days outside the body.

This has the potential to be catastrophic because the virus is so deadly.

Where did you hear this? There has only been one study that addressed the viruses survival outside of the human body and it involved the perfect conditions for viral replication and survival in an indoor, controlled setting.

With ideal viral conditions and an indoor environment, it can survive for up to 6 days.

In the only follow-up study, they showed that in comparison to other viruses, ebola virus is sensitive to both UV light and drying.

Where did you get the "able to live for days" statement?

And where do we think this virus is? I don't think ebola is a very silent killer. Duncan got it from a woman in late stage. The nurses got it from Duncan, also likely in late stage.

We'll see what happens with the plane, but a minor fever is a lot different from bleeding from multiple orifices and vomiting when it comes to transmission, I'm guessing.
