having two healthcare workers who cared for a symptomatic person testing positive for the disease isn't demonstrating that.
Well, there is a slight difference in the protocols for CDC workers handling Ebola in controlled settings at the CDC . . . .

. . . versus the CDC's recommended protocol for US healthcare workers handling Ebola within an environment of explosive diarrhea, projectile vomit, and a bleeding dying patient . . . .

The truth is the CDC is downplaying the risk so the public isn't over reacting to the risk.

Anyone comparing Ebola to HIV, SARS, or swine flu is a little uninformed, intentionally.

I wonder what kind of protocols the military has for personnel working in tropical conditions? You just know they have the latest and greatest in portable decontamination facilities for soldiers who have been or were potentially exposed to the virus.

Speaking of the protocols the CDC recommends for U.S. healthcare workers. I remember being in San Francisco when AIDS was killing people by the score. There was this one female doctor, Lorraine Day, who was controversial because she felt the existing protocols for treating HIV positive patients were inadequate. LINK Could we be seeing history repeating itself?
