His last recording is a real tear jerker and a great song.

Not Gonna Miss You

I searched several times and different keywords on different boards, and on google.

Had some really great songs. A few money-making sappy ones, but some that are really solid.

He won't remember how many people admired him or how many great songs he wrote. Makes me sick to my stomach.

That is heartbreaking.

I am dealing with this. My ex-wife and the mother of my son was diagnosed with the early onset of the disease about a year and a half ago at the age of 60. My son is devastated as he is quite close to her.

He told me that he may take a leave of absence from his Ph.D. program at Johns Hopkins to spend time with her while she can still recognize him. I cannot tell you how my heart breaks for him and all affected by this disease.

I think Alzheimer's is one of the most difficult diseases for the family to deal with. I hope there is a cure or at least better treatment sometime in the near future.

I remember watching him on the Grammy's a couple years ago.

Alzheimer's is a cruel cruel thing.

That song was really sad.

I'm ashamed to say that I'm not familiar with any of Glen Campbell's stuff. I'm not a country fan but I like some of the old stuff.

I feel bad for him and his family. My grandfather died this way.

That said, who keeps bumping these week-old threads?
