DLauw it's as you described, but didn't have the teeth top/bottom.
But while you're here, I have to spread a lot of #8 limestone around my barn. In the event I never find the tool I've described, is there something you can suggest that is easier to use than a rake or shovel?

Dude buy a wide garden rake (pictured above) flip it over and spread your stone. You spreading 57? Or you got roadbase (limestone with fines)? If it's roadbase, you need to get a water hose and a roller (or a roller with a water tank) to pack it in. If it's 57 or larger just spread it, it will never pack and will rut every time you drive on it.
