This is what schools that have no tradition do. Gimmicky, temporary, devoid of timeless glory.

I'd be upset too knowing my tradition filled school lost to this no tradition school the last two times.

Well no shite, Captain obvious.

But schools have to do something to turn the tide.

Oregon was dogshite for their entire history.

Got a couple of great coaches...became a success in the late 90's early 2000's and changed the program with appealing to kids...style of play, uniforms and the best player facilities/locker rooms in CFB (and don't argue about this - because it's not even close).

You have to do something to turn NW turd into success...and Oregon's success story is nothing short of a miracle up in the Northwest and being the punching bag for 50 years.

I find it sad that most people who hate Oregon's success just want the same old - same old - they want the old conservative football and the same traditional powers...it's almost like a love affair with myopia and fear of anything new.

Oregon looks good in their old unis...but they also sucked in their old unis.
