Probably me.

If you go to Pok Pok, try Salt and Straw across the street for ice cream afterwards. They always have some unique flavors (I had bone marrow with bourbon soaked cherries, last time I went).

Also, Imperial Bottleshop and Taproom is just a few doors down if you like good craft beer.

If you like cocktails, Whiskey Soda Lounge is also on that block, and is owned by the Pok Pok people.

You can easily park your car and walk to all of these places right there on SE Division.

Someone mentioned the burger at Little Bird. The sister location is a little closer - Le Pigeon, and I would reccomend that. They have an awesome burger, and it used to be VERY hard to get, because they only made 5 per night. Once they sold 5, there were done until the next day. I think it is the same burger as the one at Little Bird, with the bun from Ken's Artisan Bakery.

Finally, just a 1/2 mile or so east on Division you will find The Beermongers and Apex Bar. No food, no booze, just beer. Several nice places to eat on that block, including Pine State Biscuits, if you get tired of all the healthy food available in Portland.

You might be able to find a brewery or two in that part of town, too. HUB, Cascade, Hair of the Dog, The Commons, Gigantic, Burnside, and Basecamp (plus one or 6 that I might have missed) are all within a mile or two.

Agree on Salt and Straw. Went three out of the 5 days in Portland. Favorite flavor was Pear and Blue Cheese, but all were great.

In that same stretch of Division, is Ava Gene's, a higher-end modern Italian place. Wife thought it was the best salmon dish she has ever had - and she's eaten a lot of salmon.

And continuing my comparison of New Orleans and Portland, Lardo is no Butcher - although it looks as if that's what they were going for. Now if they had had not been out of Chris Consentino's guest chef sandwich of chicken livers and crispy chicken skin on toast, I might have a different opinion.
