In part, yes. Invading Iraq, bombing Libya, sending troops to Africa to stop Ebola outbreaks, stopping genocide in the Balkans, providing relief efforts after tsunamis, looking for lost planes in the Indian Ocean, stopping pirate activity, etc. The list goes on and on of efforts that we make globally, that these people benefit from, at no cost to them.

That's not an argument I've ever heard made against universal health care. I thought we couldn't have it because its bad and evil and would destroy our economy and freedom and health care would suck. You're saying we can't have it because we are spending an equivalent amount blowing shite up. Right?


And I guess we can't have paid sick leave because the U.S. went to the Moon and we spent all the paid sick leave money for that?
