Good. I couldn't believe my ears when I saw the video of him saying, basically, "We don't know how the nurse got it but she must not have followed proper protocols in treating ebola."
The jackass actually said, "there was breach in protocol at some point."
Just stated it matter of factly. No "must have" to it.
He flatly said she breached protocol.
Now, it sounds like the CDC is giving the poor girl the 3rd degree (in her hospital isolation room) about "'inconsistencies' in the type of personal protective gear she wore and with the process used to put the gear on and remove it." As with Dr. Kent Brantley and others, they still have no idea as to how she contracted it. At least not yet.
However, THE CDC WOULD NOT HAVE TO QUIZ THIS NURSE AT ALL IF THEIR PROTOCOL INCLUDED MANDATORY PRESENCE OF EXPERT OBSERVERS especially during donning of protective gear, and removal of it. In other words, if the CDC protocol recommended the same safety measures it insists on with its own workers, there would not be a question.
Of course there might not be an infected 26y/o RN either.
