That's kind of what I'm thinking. Obviously UF was slow getting up but it's so subjective. I was happy with the play clock reset. LSU needed that extra time to spike it and get the FG unit out.

If you watch the replay, you will see one of the officials signalling to stop the clock around the 10 second mark. While I think he probably should have called penalty on UF and given us the 5 yards, at least he was trying to account for the delay in some way. The adjustment back to 10 seconds wasn't arbitrary, it was about where the clock was when he was calling for it to be stopped.

Here is a nice article in a Florida paper stating not only was the time addition appropriate but that they should have also give the Tigers 5 yards.
