First and foremost, Julius Thomas had been in the NFL for one year before Peyton Manning got there. Forgive him for taking basically a "redshirt" year as a rookie after playing only one year of college football. He was a basketball player that made the transition over to football at Portland State in 2010.
And if Julius Thomas is a product of the system, then so is Jimmy Graham... BTW, neither are.
