So you u would rather have the illusion of a "winner" through some stupid shootout style bullshite that isn't representative if the game they are playing than have a legitimate tie?

Like the college OT? Hell, no. Ties were perfectly fine for over a hundred years of college football, and over 50 years of pro football.
