I always wondered how lawyers and doctors with a lot of customers went on vacation. Seems like they would always have something they can't miss come up.

Field engineer is worth mentioning, but they usually get a good bit of days off too. When I was one I would work about 18 days a month- about 210 a year. That's 155 days off..the only problem is they are often on call on those days off, but if you are a good ol boy and just want to fish or hunt on days off (ie not stray far from home) it's pretty ideal. And you also get vacation like other professions, so you can take as many trips as other people.

Most partners at CPA firms don't have lives outside of work


I passed by a place I used to work yesterday and the parking lot was full.....just shook my head and said those poor frickers
