So why do many insult Miles for his wins with "talent" but never say anything about Saban.

The Bama dynasty was a mirage, made the accepted perception by the Rematch.
It's the way Bama has LOOKED while running through a somewhat softer SEC schedule, that has LSU fans so upset with Miles, whose teams have looked less stylish winning less than a game less per year the past 4 years.
It's not the hardware, although the 2011 trophy certainly was a bitter pill to swallow.
But the bottom line is that Bama was just a better team, which makes Miles leading LSU to a win in Tuscaloosa in the GOTC all the more impressive.
