Bought my kid a 125 one like that. Was total piece of shite. Shocks sucked,Steering sucked,Carb was forever getting plugged up no matter what Seafoam/non ethanol fuel i ran in it.
Got him an EX 250 and he was stoked. I was as well since i never had to do anything to it.
But,he was 8 not 5 so

Look for a used reliable brand..
That or completely take that thing apart and rebuild it torquing everything properly and putting loctite on anything that needs to stay put.
Have dealt with a lot of chinese pit bikes, they just fall apart if you don't go over every bolt with a fine tooth comb. Be prepared for the motor to give out fairly easily as well.
