Season 1 was bad.

Bad writing.

Bad acting.

It didn't get good until about the last third of the season.

I was surprised it got renewed.

Season 2 was amazing. Frankly, It may be looked back as the high tide of the show.

This year has been uneven. Don't care about Atom. Don't care about Barrowman. The whole I'm in Hong Kong flashbacks parts are boring.

Honestly, I wish they would shift the focus to Canary and Arrow. How does she become such a bad arse. Clearly, she is no where near that right now. Each week should show her having her arse kicked currently.

Hope the season picks up.

I also like Thea's character development. She hasn't been the spoiled little rich brat she was the first 2 seasons. And she is actually having some real reactions to the stuff that is being thrown at her. I loved the fact that she went directly to Laurel and told her like a woman what actually happened to Sara. It's a sharp contrast to the veil of secrecy and lies that Oliver always feels he needs to interject into these situations. And then her turning Malcolm over to Ra's in exchange for her and Oliver's lives was really the only logical choice any of them really had. And again, it is in sharp contrast to Oliver's decision to try and save everyone, including the man that was messed up enough to brainwash his daughter into killing Sara in the first place..

Now she went a little overboard with letting Nyssa out and telling her she actually shot the arrows. but I'll give her a pass on that one.

She seems to have actually grown up this season, and is actually making responsible decisions, unlike her brother.
