And the area of his chest that had the sword sticking through wasn't bandaged or anything. I didn't even see a fresh scar. The only scar in that area was the roundish one that has been there since he was on the island
I guess the wound migrated down about 6 inches or so. He has a huge bandage around his stomach and is bleeding through directly under his sternum. Its not exactly where it looked like the blade was sticking out, but it's pretty close. It is possible not to strike a vital organ there and I can accept the magical herb angle. After all Oliver has been using some kind of plant from the island (I assumed it was from the island) to treat all kind of illnesses. So, them using a larger or more effective version isn't that large of a leap. Or maybe the properties of the Lazarus Pits is portable? I'm not a comic reader, so I don't really know the whole story behind them..

Yea I kinda assumed they would find a leftover sample of the Mirakuru that would keep him alive until he healed up, and then use the reversing process from what's his name(red arrow's) blood to undue it.
Really makes more sense than what happened but then this show seems like it's on the verge of jumping the shark.

the asian girl said the stuff she was giving him was penicillin. So I guess the gaping hole in his stomach will fully heal using penicillin and ace bandages.
