I never really understood the showrunners' initial reluctance to have metahumans on Arrow. I mean they are in the same universe, and they are doing crossovers. So why not leave the possibility open for metahumans to crossover to Arrow? I'm glad they are open to it now.

And I thought how they portrayed Laurel's first attempt at being a vigilante was pretty darn good (and admittedly I got a satisfyingly chuckle out of it). As long as they continue to go that route with her, I think they'll make her character's transformation believable (and hopefully we'll get to see her get her arse handed to her a few more times).

I always assumed it was budget issues but maybe they just didn't think a vanilla human (however insanely skilled) could take on metahumans.

I think the best thing they can do for Laurels character is to hurry up and make her BC, just get it over with. Then kind of take a lot the focus off of her and just let her go about trying to be a vigilante. Her biggest problem is that she hasnt been able to come down from these emotional highs since Tommy died and that shite gets old.

Similar to the comics. You wouldn't have too many superpowered villains in the Batman titles. A Clayface or Man-Bat here and there... but the majority are non-powered.

People are already upset with Flash taking on low-power villains. Imagine the response if Oliver was taking down villains like Professor Zoom and Black Adam with arrows.

I'd expect a majority of non or low-powered villains on Arrow, with the occasional big gun metahuman showing up.
