Bailey previously worked out for the Lions and is willing to play in the slot, as a nickelback or at the safety position, Rapoport reported last month. After a nagging plantar foot injury led to Bailey's release by the Saints prior to the season, his agent said in August that the 36-year-old defender is "fully healthy now."

Saints are good people for not running their mouth about his injury

I don't understand why Bailey won't just let it go and retire. He's got to have boatloads of cash and his body is failing him.

Bailey needs to raise the sail and let the wind just take him away. Get in the HOF and as long as he doesn't stutter, get on the NFL network like the rest of the players that can't do it anymore.

Good. He better belongs on a team that doesn't completely depend on him being the bell cow DB. He's too old for that.

But probably has a season in uniform left somewhere.

Bailey needs to retire...the Lions were one injury to their secondary away from signing me to play and they didn't bite.
