“I’ve been in those types of games before and you win some and lose some,” Franks said. “Just because you lose to a great team like Auburn it should not affect the way guys think. I know it doesn’t have any effect on me at all.”

The 6-foot-5, 210-pound Franks was involved in one of those lopsided losses on Friday when his Wakulla squad turned the ball over eight times – all fumbles – in a 60-21 loss to Godby.

Franks feels that fans have to be patient with the Tiger offense and thinks the best lies ahead.

“They have a bunch of young players and I’m sure as the receivers get a little more comfortable and the quarterbacks do too that they will throw the ball more vertically,” he said. “I still feel real good about my decision and I’m excited to play for coach Cameron and coach Miles. I love everything about LSU and nothing has changed for me.”
