re: do any of you own a single-family home that is fully sprinkled?

We are building a new home in San Juan County, WA and they require full sprinkler systems for any new construction exceeding 4,000 sq ft. We made some design changes to stay below the trigger point. Initial cost estimate was $25,000.

It is required in two small towns outside Nashville, Nolensville and I think Ashland City. More towns in the area are looking at it. New construction of course.
