Concerning the part about whites are more likely to get accepted to a college instution, isn't it optional to put your race on the act? In other words, do colleges even know your ethnic background when you apply?

I think that's true but really don't know what is on the applications nowadays.
My point was more of using numbers to illustrate a point of view in favor of the OPs. Anyone can hide behind numbers and find sites to support their agenda. In this case I see it as a racist conflict agenda. No value presented, only an attempt to create conflict. Typical racist bs
