If you get bad sound through speakers and phones--that eliminates speaker cables and speakers.
If you get it from the table and Bluetooth, that eliminates a bad source.
That fact that it affects the speakers and the phones the same, tells me it's not the main amplifier output or the headphone amp.
That only leaves the pre-amp section of the Quad.

So what are my options? Do I need to call them tomorrow it's fine now but I hate for this to keep happening What would you do

You may need to call MD and get a Return Authorization from them. If possible, so you aren't down for long, see if there is a way you can buy another one tomorrow and have it shipped 2 day, and have them refund your account that same amount when they get your unit back.
