Starting early tonight...
A top 10 of all time (IMHO) Dead show...
Shrine Exposition Hall, Los Angeles, CA, 11/10/67...
The boys were firing on all cylinders this night--this is one of the 30 complete shows from the "30 Trips Around The Sun" box that was released a few months ago.
The vinyl of this show, which I posted a few pages back, was released on 1/19/16. I am listening to it again tonight but on CD insteadt--it's that jammin'!

Nick Drake's debut album "Five Leaves Left"
The English poet/singer-songwriter achieved his guitar style through alternative tunings, which he loved to experiment with to accompany his dark and haunting melodies.
The title of the record is a reference to the old Rizla cigarette papers packet, which contained a printed note near the end saying "Only five leaves left".
