For a table to phono stage, I always like a cable with good shielding, as it carries a very low voltage signal and any outside "noise" has a chance of interfering.
With that said, you probably won't get much of a difference between a $10 and a $30 cable. However, if you get near $80 or so, there are some cables that have better wire, better shielding, and better soldering at the barrel connectors. Check out The Cable Company and Blue Jean Cables.

Collecting some of my favorite vinyl but no phono setup yet due to lack of room at our current place...
