On now...
Linda Ronstadt with the Nelson Riddle Orchestra--"'Round Midnight"...
This is actually a 3 LP box of which all 3 albums were released individually...
"What's New"...1983
"Lush Life"...1984
"Sentimental Reasons...1986
Linda Ronstadt teamed up with the master Nelson Riddle and cut 3 complete albums covering a plethora of Big Band and classic jazz standards.
If you want an idea of what these are about, check out the first one, "What's New". Linda has one of the most powerful voices I've ever heard, and an incredible range to boot. The music contained here is really some beautiful stuff. It can be easily found on almost all music services.

Up next and closing out tonight...
"Fare Thee Well--50 Years of the Grateful Dead"...7 DVD + 12 CD box from this past July 4th weekend at Soldier Field, Chicago.
Will listen to 7/3/15 set 1 tonight.
They really did a great job with this box--the recordings are excellent and the camera work is pretty darn good too--even if Phil can't sing worth a damn
