Just wanted to let all of you know that I really have appreciated the help over the past few months. The DC Carbon blows the Audio Technica completely out of the water. Like night and day. Also have ~10 records now. #feelsgoodman

One slight issue, though: the platter (or the turntable) is uneven in one spot causing the stylus to lift in one area. What's the best way to fix the issue without dropping a bunch of money?

Huh. My Audio Technica doesn't have this problem. Huh.

The platter should be completely flat. If it isn't, send it back. The platter's being stable and smooth plays a HUGE part in reproduction.

I am curious as to how the platter is warped? It is sitting on the spindle crooked? Is the spindle itself not level?

Can you post a few pics? Maybe I can see better what you are talking about.

That is an odd issue.
