Almost picked up that Rega as my first turntable but couldn't really shell out the money right now. Nice setup, may look into their turntables in a few years.

How do you like this cartridge? And how important is the cartridge to the sound quality? I mean, I know it is important, but I guess what I really mean is how much difference is there between a cartridge that is sub $50 and one that is over $200? The cartridge will likely be the first accessory I upgrade, followed by the platter. The platter I have now is good, but I will probably get an acrylic platter.

Did you align your Ortofon and or did a dealer do it?
