At the beginning of the season, many people were worried how Fournette would handle the pressure of lofty expectations. And thus far, he has been our best runningback.

But with all eyes on Harris, and the offensive line playing with a chip on its shoulder...Fournette is going to hit 200 yards rushing against Auburn.

I think Sunday morning, LSU will be 5-1 and the Fournette Heisman talks become legitimate .

Hope so. More often, it's Auburn's RBs that go nuts on us.

Yes, this thread happens every week. When he finally does "go nuts", whoever started the thread is going to think they are sooooo smart.

On a related note.....not saying it will happen....not saying it won't happen.....but what are you going to do/say if it so happens that Fournette's stat line vs. Auburn is 12 carries for 29 yards?? What will the reaction be?

Auburn will stack the box early and test Harris. Once Harris proves he can throw on them, the run game will open up nicely.

Idk about 200 yards, but at best I'll say 120 with him going off in the second half because of Harris' ability to throw.

With any luck, he'll snap and line up at middle linebacker.

first of all, there haven't been any talks of him winning the Heisman because there are a bunch of other backs that are outperforming him.

secondly, for his Heisman talks to even start, he'd have to rack up 350+ yards and 3+ TDs against Auburn and Florida...

I'd love to see him do it but I don't think his numbers would be that extreme in the next two weekends. and I'd love to be wrong and have him have a monster game.

Right, wrong, or indifferent, here's my take on Buga....

He's got all the tools:
*shimmy and shake (elusiveness) - check
*vision - check-ish and getting better as the game slows down for him
*power - check (and will only get better)

the ONLY major thing I see LF needs to do is learn how to run behind his pads more, and when to do that and when to use his elusiveness and bounce outside. Sometimes you gotta be the dumptruck, and sometimes you gotta be the lemming.... he can do both, but just needs to learn when to do each... Gurley is the best in the league at it.

He's got to find a way to stay up after first contact. Right now, he's an easy tackle.
