I think the reports of Brees' demise are greatly exaggerated and premature. He's had a rough stretch, but by no means is there reason to think he's done.
Really, the only loss that really disturbs me is Dallas. And, like most, it's not the loss so much as it is the way the Saints lost.
And it is absolutely spot on to focus on how the new players react. Brees actually alluded to that yesterday. The season isn't lost, but it's going to take a lot of guts, hard work and focus to turn it around.

I agree. Brees has never been a guy who is going to throw it downfield without his feet set on a consistent basis. The pressure coming right up the middle of our line (against our high paid guards) is an issue in terms of moving the ball deep.
