I'll ask this sincerely...assuming you're being honest, do you think you make up the majority of fans?

I ask this, because the VAST majority of idiots around me who were booing/hollering, while SURELY angry at Miles, were yelling VERY VERY specific things AT Jennings. They were clearly booing Jennings.

Aside form that...booing to what end? The frickhead near me who WAS yelling directly at Miles had no plan...he was just angry. Was he under the impression Miles could hear him? If he could, would he take his comments under advisement? Does ANYONE think their booing REALLY lead Miles to make the change...REALLY?

In the end, unless you think booing actually works (which would make you dumb) the only thing I find booing does is make the fan-base look foolish and force OUR TEAM to have to rally around themselves because they no longer think we have their backs.

I shouldn't have to tell you this but its the only way fans have to voice their displeasure. Would you rather a guy punch you in the mouth because he's pissed at Miles. Fans vent...its what they do. I don't condone booing specific players. I have booed a few times in 40+ years as the entire team ran on/off the field. Did it do any good...of course not! But it sure made me feel a hell of a lot better.

I am being honest and unfortunately no, I do think I am the minority. Jennings this not tell Les "im going back out there nothing you can do about it".

Same as JJ( unless he actually did have nudes of the staff) was not the decision maker in the dome.

Another point, since its Auburn week, Jamie Howard was taking play calls from the sidelines, yet his car was still firebombed. (Different coaching staff I know)

Every now and then someone sums up everything in a perfect post.

This is one.

This. It wasn't hard to see that they were booing at Jennings at many points (and admittedly at Miles at some points). The "we weren't booing at Jennings" stuff just doesn't match up with first hand observation from the stadium.

One thing I'm thankful for now, as an adult, is something I learned in high school. If any student ever booed at any sporting event, that student got suspended from school. We never booed. And to this day, I can honestly say that I have still never booed at any event ever. Booing makes you look absolutely fricking stupid.

Yes I do, for several reasons - 1/9 will never disappear it will just become something we all live with, but the disappointment remains.

I really do not think he wants to go there again anytime soon with this fan base.

To this I would add that it makes recruiting much harder when young high school athletes see how the fan base treats ITS OWN PLAYERS. Of course, the opponents of this philosophy would say if a recruit is swayed by fans booing THEIR OWN TEAM, he is weak and we don't really want him anyway.
