Take this for what it's worth, but I just trashed a 1.5 year old Epson all-in-one because it would not longer spit out any ink. Absolutely atrocious. As someone else mentioned, not being able to print also rendered the scanner completely useless. Tell me why that is?

I replaced with and HP color laser printer. It doesn't do photos as well or have the scanner, but it's much less of a hassle.

Ditto for me. I didn't use the printer for a while, went back to it and it wouldn't print black. Spent $20 on a replacement cartridge and it still wouldn't. And I think I read that it's not uncommon, but when I ran out of a color ink, it wouldn't print black and white pages until you refilled the colored cartridge. I'll never buy an Epson again.
