I don't think Monty can make Dell draft anyone. Furthermore, I've seen nothing more than fan speculation to support the assertion that Monty even pushed to draft Rivers.

Rivers was Monty's boy from the start and everyone knows it. And it's not like the head coach wouldn't have significant input on the decision made for drafting a player. You're acting like it was all 100% Dell's call, which is silly.
