I don't know the rules of rugby, but are they throwing crossing routes like they do in football today? People playing rugby also grew up playing rugby... it's in their muscle memory. Do you honestly think people like Brandon Meriweather would suddenly be able to tackle rugby style efficiently?

Wut?
I'm saying Rugby players have been using less padding and the world hasn't ended and people aren't dying all over the place. There is a clear similarity in the games of American Football and Rugby, which is my point that padding isn't really as necessary as people say it is.
