The light has been taken down, there are signs everywhere. At what point do drivers take responsibility for being idiots?

Ive driven through that intersection about 10 times since they took the light out. There has almost been an accident 7 of those times. Dumbasses on Burbank coming to a complete stop (with no intention of turning) seem to be the biggest problem.
They need to put the light back and program it so that each direction of Boyd has a green light while the other three directions are faced with a red light. The biggest problem was people trying to turn left onto Burbank and only two or three cars making it through the intersection.

the problem is that there is no sign, and that its a strange place to only have a right turn only in both directions. It needs to be made obvious. Unfortunately stupid people will try to turn there illegally so they don't have to wait at Parker.

a roundabout there would do wonders.

I feel like people don't know how to obey traffic laws or something.
The lights have changed, the signs have changed. TO HELP YOU.
Just do what they say, they make sense!

These crashes say more for lack of driving skills than for intersection layout.

I didn't read the thread, but y'all know they took the "right turn only" signs down, right?

Where they took out the fricking traffic signal of course!

There are wrecks there daily now. And there were wrecks there daily before they took the light out. As long as people ignore the signs or lights, there will continue to be wrecks there.

DOTD to reinstall traffic signal at intersection of East Boyd Drive and Burbank Drive
Tuesday, September 30, 2014
BATON ROUGE, La. – Today, the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announced that crews will begin work to reinstall the traffic signal at the intersection of East Boyd Drive and Burbank Drive starting tomorrow. The work is expected to take eight working days, at which time, the signal will be reactivated.
The signal was removed in July as part of a project to improve safety and traffic flow on this section of Burbank Drive. DOTD, after careful monitoring and trying different traffic measures to improve this intersection, found it best to revert back to the original configuration.
This is the final piece of a project that was designed to improve safety and traffic flow on Burbank Drive. The following work was also performed during the project, and will stay in place:
Installing a new traffic signal at the intersection of Burbank Drive and West Parker Boulevard including pedestrian signals
Restriping Burbank Drive from a 4-lane roadway to a 5-lane roadway with a center turn lane
Reconstructing the signal at Burbank Drive and Jennifer Jean Drive and adding pedestrian signals
Clearing land at the corner of Burbank Drive and East Boyd Drive to improve sight distance and extending the sidewalk along Burbank
DOTD would like to remind drivers to be alert while driving through this intersection as drivers adjust to the changes.
For more information, please visit www.dotd.la.gov, email dotdcs@la.gov, or call DOTD’s Customer Service Center at (225) 379-1232 or 1-877-4LADOTD (1-877-452-3683). Business hours are 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Motorists can also access up-to-date travel information by dialing 511 or by visiting www.511la.org. Out of-state travelers can call 1-888-ROAD-511 (1-888-762-3511).
Additionally, motorists can utilize the new “Way to Geaux” application to receive real-time, around the clock travel alerts. The hands-free, eyes-free smartphone application can be downloaded on any iPhone or Android device by visiting either the iTunes App Store, or Google Play.
