I certainly don't want my team to be on the hook for 200 mil for Scherzer think I'd pass ETA: I want James Shields if the astros are adding a top of the rotation arm

Meh. I'm not that high on Scherzer. Guy turned down 6/144 before the season and Lester just got 6/166 so he's going to be looking for more than that. Plus Boras is his agent. I just don't think he's worth near Kershaw money. In his Cy Young season, he's ERA was 2.90. I mean thats good but hardly dominant. DK nearly posted that for us in his 200 innings this year.
