Does harris have to be a world beater or will he just have to manage the game and make the occasional necessary throw in order for auburn to not load the box? And if auburn respects the pass and plays straight up will the running backs be able to take over the game?

Throws that force the LBs to be involved in coverage. Basically, the one's we have failed to complete thus far.

When the safeties play 8 yds from the LOS like NMSU did, he has to be allowed to throw the ball behind them. Then it is his job to complete the pass.

Enter the game at the quarterback position.

He will have to sling it like Mettenberger did against Bama in 2012 and add lib with his feet. Our defense will have to be good enough to hold Auburn below 31 for victory. Just my thoughts

Depends on the playcalling. I bet they really want to dominate the run this game to take away TOP from Auburn. Hopefully they can establish a decent passing game early on so Auburn doesn't play the entire game with 8 or 9 in the box.

I don't know, but if BH can come out in the first couple of drives and gain confidence, Aubie better watch out. Running lanes will be opened and all hell will break loose on the plains.

Complete the 10 yard short passes that Jennings missed. His threat of passing already makes defenses more honest

Really, if he throws a couple of sharp 10-15 yard completions early, that will set the tone.

Then

Yes. I think our RBs can take over a game if the other team isn't stacking the box.

Keep throwing them perty spirals over and out of reach of the d and let his receivers do work like they do.

Scramble like Marshall in my opinion. Get them off balance. Simple as that.

I thought LSU wins this game with Jennings, I think we win with Harris. Auburn is a very beatable team.

yes

I really don't care if they respect the pass (hoping they don't) because i think we will run a spread offense and i like our wr's one on one with BH throwing to them.

He has to complete some passes, preferably some long ones.

If there are 2 or more WRs on the field then they will respect the pass.

LSU's first play from scrimmage throw a 70 yard bomb for a touchdown. They will be expecting run, run, run... to get harris into the groove. I saw personally how mindfu*ked florida was against alabama after they hit cooper for 80 yards right out of the gate. They were putting 5 maybe 6 in the box and the corners/nickel were playing 10-15 yards deep (except hargreaves) Safeties were 25 yards back the rest of the game. The Running backs would run 6-7 yards before being touched.

Torch that azz About 2 bullets up the seam behind cheating LBs and a safety ought to do it quite nicely

Just show up for the game, Auburn has seen his game tape and is rightfully afraid of Harris.
