I'll play devils advocate and credit the drunk chiefs fan for being hilarious (even if unintentionally)

as the article points out, even the disapproving female chiefs fan can't help but laugh at the end. It's so ridiculous. But yah that guy is probably only "funny" in 20 second increments

this is why as an away fan you cough up for good seats away from the poors. Btw I don't agree he's beta that's just an awful situation.

Maybe I was being a bit harsh calling him a beta but damn, he really didn't think this through. There's been a ton of stories lately involving fans of the visiting team getting their arse beat for no reason. Then you factor in that he was most likely a bandwagon Pats fan sitting alone in the upper deck with maybe the most rowdy crowd in the NFL....and that's why crap like this happens.

There's no way on earth I would go to an NFL game as a fan of the visiting team nowadays unless I had club box tickets or had about 4 buddies the size of Bill Goldberg that went with me.

You just have to cough up for good seats. That would never happen along lower level sideline or in club sections

I fail to understand how this is relevant.

Huh? You're not going to go to an away game because of the possibility that you might get heckled?

Exactly. I try to avoid areas where I'll be surrounded by thousands upon thousands of assholes.

If there was a restaurant where drunk people would be yelling obscenities and throwing shite at me, I would avoid it. If Rouse's had a reputation for its clerks shoving their crotches in my face while I was grabbing my orange juice, guess where I wouldn't be shopping?

Though like SirWinston noted, trash congregates in areas that trash can afford so if I did decide to go to an away game, I'm springing for the good sections.

Classic Camarohead fans. I don't really like bringing my girlfriend to Chiefs games. Too many idiots like this guy roaming around.

NFL stadiums have some of the trashiest fans in the business.

Um you can find worse things going on at major college football games.

I doubt it. NFL games are just awful. Really, pro sports games are just awful. Your chances of getting stabbed or "brah'd" goes up drastically.
