"Feel it all around" is one of the premier tracks of that whole genre.

His studio albums have some filler, however. Still a great artist. Burt said he's boring as frick live though

Com Truise is awesome live, however

Weird to see him/her/it listed under this subgenre.

I just finished getting my mind blown by some Gentle Giant 10 minutes or so ago, so this statement amuses me

Top 10 album (maybe top 5?) of the 00s

I'd go top 5. Never really thought of Panda Bear as chillwave though. He has a new album coming out soon.

Person Pitch is soooo good. Even today I can still listen all the way through and enjoy every bit of it.

But I also don't consider it to be chill wave. I suppose it could be considered a precursor to it.

Here's how I see it:

Chillwave
Neon Indian
Com Truise
Washed Out
Toro Y Moi (the first album)
Memory Tapes (first album)

Not chillwave
Panda Bear
Ducktails
Real Estate
Diiv
Lotus Plaza
Deerhunter

EDIT: above are not rankings of any sort. They are simply lists in no particular order of what I consider to be chillwave and not chillwave. I agree with the gentleman who said that Neon Indian's Psychic Chasms is the essential chillwave album.
