I have to say it crossed my mind too. It seemed as if maybe not the coaches, but the football God's reached down and slapped Les, and forced him to insert the future LSU star qurterback before he wanted.
I think the plan last night was AJ had the first half, and Harris inserted after halftime when game was well in hand.
He likes to infer that Harris's success comes from playing against backups and defense that has been softned/worn down later in the game. After last night, I believe Harris was so strong in his performance, I don't think even Les (and his track record with JJ) will be able to prevent him from being listed as No. 1 going forward.
